Refund & Billing Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026
This policy explains how billing works for CertReel and is part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
How you pay
- Credits are what generate and download videos (cost scales with length). You can buy credits as one-time packs and pay as you go — no subscription required.
- A subscription adds a recurring monthly credit allotment plus the team features (enroll staff, certificates, dashboards), which require an active subscription.
Subscriptions
- The subscription is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel.
- It includes a monthly allotment of credits. Monthly credits do not roll over to the next period.
Credit packs
- You can buy credits as one-time packs and use them with or without a subscription. Purchased pack credits are added to your balance and remain until used.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.
Refunds
- Except where required by law, all charges are non-refundable. This includes subscription fees and credit-pack purchases, whether or not credits have been used.
- Because each generation consumes paid third-party AI services at the time you run it, generated trainings and used credits cannot be refunded.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact founder@bookittechnologies.com within 30 days and we will review it in good faith.
Cancellation
- You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
- Cancelling does not refund the current period or any unused credits.
- After cancellation you can still export your trainings and completion/certificate records (the “Export All” option), and certificate verification links remain valid for at least 12 months while CertReel operates. See the Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Price changes
We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply to your next billing period. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
Failed payments & taxes
If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved. Prices are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we’re happy to help. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
